The following is 2007's program
New this year is our Instrument Petting Zoo!!
We invite children of all ages to experiment "playing" string and percussion instruments, a real "hands on" exposure to the violin, drums, cymbals, etc. It's a wonderful way to generate excitement and cultivate an interest in music education for our youngsters. Don't miss this unique opportunity. For a memorable experience, join us next to the Children's Craft Area.
Children will enjoy the Crafts Area again this year. They can make
and decorate their own favorite musical instruments made from
household materials. Guitars, tambourines, rainsticks, maracas,
drums and bongos are some of the selections that will be available. Also, face painting artists will be on hand for those decorative touches to those sweet little children's faces.
Also appearing in the Crafts area will be Professor Wes Weasley with his wonderful electro-magnetic Theremin. Create eerie music just by waving your hands in front of the instrument.
Another special attraction is the Organ Grinders team, Gloria and Ralph Schack, playing their rare vintage instruments. Their mechanical monkey will follow you with his eyes!
Beginning at 2:35pm, the children can
participate in the annual Children's Parade and march through
the campus showing off their very own creations. |
